Many years ago we made vegan aromatherapy soaps and sold them at the beautiful West End markets, right beside the river and under the shade of an enormous Moreton Bay Figtree. We set up our stall at 4.am and our sleepy children brought pillows. We loved our first soap and incense sales of the day, as the money was spent on 4 freshly baked croissants and espresso coffees – which we munched as the sun rose and the people flowed into the markets. We usually emptied our soap boxes, and filled up our car with boxes of fresh fruit and vegetables, bunches of fresh flowers, fresh baked sour-dough bread, and a few sweet treats for happy children. And we drove back up the winding goat track dirt road to the rainforest on the mountain. I miss those beautiful, simple days.
Our brand new, extra large cakes of hand-made, cold-pressed, vegan aromatherapy soap are creamy-lathering, beautifully-fragrant personal luxuries made from coconut oil and Green (RSPO) Palm oil sourced from re-planted rubber plantations.
- Sage Green contains French Argiletz clay with Lemongrass, Sage, French Lavender, Ginger, Virginian Cedarwood, Patchouli and Vetiver.
- Amethyst soap contains French Rose Geranium, Indian Rose, Kashmir Lavender, Ylang Ylang and Cedarwood.
*Did you know that hand-made soap lasts a very long time if you keep it in an air tight container and in the fridge between washes? It truly does. And if you love a luxury soap, we recommend doing this to really prolong the pleasure of using your favourite new cake.
